Greatness

Greatness is generally measured by crises, but I am not sure that is the correct measuring stick. It may be that the routines of life reveal true greatness.

  1. it may be difficult to find a dependable measuring stick of greatness inasmuch as it not of itself a virtue. Though if upon its definition it is applied to one, it could be. In which case, you are probably right inasmuch as it is generally in the least-visible moments or "routines of life" when the strength of your virtues show their true colors.
