We have learned that our 7th grandchild (Leah's) is to be a girl, which makes us very happy - not that we would not have been equally happy with a boy.

I am so excited because our girls will all be so close in age!

  2. I am expecting that all these 3rd generation girls are going to be taught from their earliest days that one of their prime works in life is to pamper Pappy in his old age.

  8. He also likes to cut toenails, if I remember correctly. And pluck hairs out of the top of your head. :)

The toenail clipping was a fun family event.

  11. You may have heard the story that with your Great-grandpa Green it was not toenail clipping, but toenail rasping. He would have Evan get a horse rasp and file down his thick big toenails. They were terribly thick.
