I used to say intelligent things to my wife

but now, by the time I find her in our "empty nest" house, I usually forget what I wanted to say and just stand there with a stupid look on my face.

    I haven't yet made it to the stage of saying intelligent things to Ashlie. Figure it is safer this way.
