The Countess de Jongh
Her name was
Andree Eugenie Adrienne de Jongh. Her nickname was Deedee. She was one of the more famous of the members of the European Resistance during World War II. She organized the famous Comet Line to get escaped Allied soldiers and airmen to places of safety. In the course of her work she became a World War II legend. After the war she was made a Countess in the Belgian nobility by King Baudouin.
