Can actors be sincere?
Among the many reasons for the high rate of failures of marriages among actors must be the very nature of their profession. When the person so whom you are married is trained to pretend to be something he is not, how can you ever believe that he really means his expressions of love and fidelity.

Kissing other people can't help. Except I imagine it didn't matter in John Wayne's case. He was the worst movie kisser ever in my opinion. I doubt his wife had to worry about anything since the woman he was kissing probably sued him afterwards for a thrown back and bruised lips.
