Biff Baker, U.S.A

This was a television series that aired during the 1952-53 series. It starred Alan Hale, Jr. (the Captain on Gilligan's Island) as Baker and Randy Stuart as his wife. He was a cold war espionage agent posing as an import/export dealer. It is a fairly good series for the era. Hale and Stuart have a good chemistry on screen, even though Hale, being jumbo-sized, does not fit the usual spy profile. (Baker had played football for Stanford, and Hale looked the part.) Some of the episodes are available on DVD at reasonable prices and are worth the investment.
