The best of the crooners
The era of crooners is largely over, with a few notable exceptions. Sinatra was the most popular. Tony Bennett was the best stylist. Robert Goulet had the best voice. Mel Torme was probably the best singer. Como had the most relaxed voice. But THE crooner was Crosby. None of them had that rich, easy voice and style that just defined the genre.

As you well know I have had a "think" for old Bing for quite some time. Michael Buble(sp?) is getting high on my list as well.
That is supposed to be "thing." Sorry.
You may have stumbled on a new memorabilia marketing campaign: "Think Bing."
Should we make campaign buttons and wear them on our lapels?
Crosby was the best. He was what modern slang would term a "smooth dude."
