Sarah and I are big fans of this genre. I am sitting here listening to the soundtrack to Robin Hood and wanting to watch a good swordfight. Nothing to get the blood stirring like a good duel between Basil and someone. Any other swashbuckler movies that you particularly like?

Best swordfights of all time? #1 between Stewart Granger and Mel Ferrar in Scaramouche. After that Basil and Errol in Robin Hood, Basil and Tyrone in Zorro, and Basil and Errol in Captain Blood. Notice any similarities?
What about the scene in the silent movie shown in the beginning of Singing in the Rain. Just kidding.
