Coffee in the morning
Have you ever wondered who it was who first discovered that hot coffee in the morning is a very satisfying drink? Particularly when you remember that they only had uncooked beans to start with?
this is a great question! lets see if i can find anything out......from wikipedia:
"The earliest credible evidence of either coffee drinking or knowledge of the coffee tree appears in the middle of the 15th century, in the Sufi monasteries around Mokha in Yemen"

But you wonder who it was who first said to himself, "I think I'll roast those beans and grind them up and drink the result.
Makes you also wonder who followed a chicken around and decided to try to eat whatever fell out of its backside...
