Gale Sondergaard - prototype creepy bad girl

Gale Sondergaard was one of the most effective female "bad guys" of her era. She just looked the part, and was able to create that character very effectively. So, from Sherlock Holmes to Zorro to Bob Hope, usually she was the bad girl. Incidentally, she won the first Best Supporting Actress Oscar ever awarded.
