Nell Craig and her milquetoast husband, Harry Depp, keep the models working late. Everyone is in a foul mood. Marjorie Weaver and Lorna Gray get into a fight over handsome stockboy Robert Lowery. Then Weaver confronts Lowery in the basement. She stomps out, and then Lowery finds a body in the laundry basket. Detective Tim Ryan conducts the investigation, with lots of "help" by Weaver and his assistant, Dewey Robinson. Lowery is the only one without an alibi, so he gets arrested - but Weaver talks Ryan into letting him go with lots of sob story. John Valentine comes into the store looking for a $25M brooch. Weaver finds it in the costume jewelry box and wears it to a showing, but does not realize it is real. Edward Keane and Dorothy Christy, owners of the store, know that it is real and scour the prop room for it. They are desperate for money.
Weaver and Lowery head to Keane's house in the company truck, not knowing that there is another body in it. They are stopped by a cop because the back door is open, and he spots the body, which happens to be Keane. Weaver runs off, but Lowery is hauled to police headquarters. Weaver helps him escape.
Who dunnit? Watch the show to find out. The acting is sub-par, but Marjorie Weaver is always entertaining, as is Tim Ryan.
