This episode is set in Brussels. A young artist (Maurice Kaufmann) is trying to sell a painting to a dealer. The dealer (Lloyd Lamble) offers him a small price, and he accepts it, then storms out. The dealer's assistant (Oscar Quitak) notes that these paintings could be worth much more - very soon - if the painter were to die. Charlie and #1 son Barry (James Hong) see him in a gallery as he greets his wife. Charlie hires him to show them through the gallery in exchange for dinner.
Quitak hires Reed De Rouen to kill Kaufmann. De Rouen goes to Kaufmann's apartment and quickly buys a couple of paintings. Charlie spots something phoney in the transaction. The next day an attempt is made on Kaufmann's life. Then Charlie's car is booby-trapped, but he spots it in time. Quitak goes to see De Rouen and tells him he intends to kills Kaufmann with De Rouen's gun, and then kill De Rouen. They struggle and De Rouen is killed. When Kaufmann arrives, Quitak pulls a gun on him, but Charlie arrives just in time and shots him. He then arrests Lamble for being behind the whole thing - and ends the episode by quoting Shakespeare.
