We used to have a two-party nation, and so a two-party system worked fairly well. That is no longer true. The demographics of the nation have splintered many ways, and we are using an archaic political system. Just one man's opinion. The result is that men of my political persuasion, or anything close to it, end up being virtually unrepresented. I am for a change.
Our parties need to become more narrowly focused, so they can actually stand for something.

I agree we need other parties! We also need to fix many things about our government like getting rid of big money in politics. You are not alone in this.
