Detectives Billy Gaxton and Victor Moore

Gaxton and Moore were a popular theater team in the 1930's and 1940's. In one episode of the Edgar Bergen radio program, Roy Rogers' horse (Trigger) has been stolen, and Gaxton has been assigned to find it. He brings in his assistant, Moore, who cracks several corny jokes in his slow, whining manner.
