My political career

When I was in college, the Quorum Court had many more members per county than it does today. In the last election before the size was cut back, a friend of mine and I decided to run for the Justice of the Peace office in Pope County. He won. I lost, and a very unpromising political career died right on the vine, where it needed to be.
