"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you" (Ephesians 4.32). This is, of course, divine writ; but even if it were not, it still is common sense. In human relations, if there is no kindness, then there will be constant conflict, stress and sorrow. It just behooves us to act in a courteous and kind manner toward others.
