Give Out, Sisters (1942)

The "sisters" here were the Andrews Sisters, who were a staple during the World War II era. This is a musical comedy typical of the era. It has several big names in either music or comedy: William Frawley, Dan Dailey, Donald O'Connor, Walter Catlett, and others. Dailey plays a band leader. We get to see three old sisters actually playing tiddly-winks. The plot is pretty good, involving a young performing group who are trying to get a break. Grace McDonald is an heiress who is under the guardianship of the three aunts, and that is the center of the fast-moving plot. Entertaining, and worth watching.
