Brahms Symphony #1 - visually

Above is a visual picture of of the first movement of Johannes Brahms' Symphony #1. It begins in a  brooding, cloudy fashion in a minor key, and basically continues that way until the famous horn solo, which is like the light breaking through. When I was in the Fort Smith Symphony back in my school days, the Principal Horn, who was a physician, bought an expensive instrument just to play that one solo. One of the fine moments in music.
