Swozzie?

"You poor, nut-headed swozzie." ( from Money For Nothing, by Sir P. G. Wodehouse)

This is a new one to me. A brief search of the Internet makes it appear to be a current slang term with a positive connotation, but the context of Miss Molloy's words from the Wodehouse novel is negative. This particular story was first published in 1928, and as we know, slang can undergo considerable change in that length of time.
