The Benny-Allen feud

One of the funniest running gags in radio history was the battle between Jack Benny and Fred Allen.

On one of the programs where they appeared together, they recollect that in their vaudeville days they played Burning Stump, Arkansas. I assume that is a fictitious place (although in Arkansas, one can never be sure).
