John Wayne's greatest performance

My vote would go for his role in The Quiet Man, for the simple reason that it was out of the normal character he portrayed. If you have not seen it, I would highly recommend it. Not only was Wayne outstanding, but the performances by Victor MacLaglen and Maureen O'Hara were very good as well. And Barry Fitzgerald was the show stealer.
