The Elusive Pimpernel

This is a sequel to the immortal novel, The Scarlet Pimpernel. Quite frankly, it drags a good bit until the end, but it certainly has a slam-bang finish. You know the Pimpernel is going to win, but you just do not see how he can. When it happens, it is all pretty simple, but still it is a surprise. It is worth reading, but not until you have read the first book.
