Kenny Delmar and Foghorn Leghorn

Delmar was the announcer on the Fred Allen radio program, and was also the voice of Senator Claghorn, one of the citizens of Allen's Alley, a regular feature of the program. His voice and manner became the prototypical stereotype of the old-style Southern senator.

The Senator became the inspiration for a fixture in the next generation - Looney Tunes cartoon character Foghorn Leghorn.
