The Earl of Ickenham - my favorite Wodehouse character

Of them all, my favorite character in the stories of Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was Frederick Altamont Corwallis Twistleton, 5th Earl of good old Ickenham (to use his words). He is one of the few who is not cowed down by the irritating, imperious Threepwood sisters who move in and out of the Blandings Castle stories. He had style and he had nerve, in a hilarious combination.
