Primitive Baptists
The term, if rightly used, refers to a group of churches who strive and claim to be primitive in their doctrine and order, that is, like the pattern of the Scriptures. Four principles will set them apart from all other religious orders: 1) The belief that when Christ died on the cross he actually redeemed everyone for whom He died. 2) The belief that God acts without means in the regeneration of sinners. 3) A jealous maintenance of the the simplicity of the worship service. 4) A strict ecclesiastical separation from all other religious orders.
