The Lemon Drop Kid - Runyon and Lux Radio

The Lux Radio version and the Damon Runyon Theater versions on radio were very different. I have not read the original story, but I suspect the movie version took a lot of liberties with it (as you would suspect with Bob Hope involved). The Lux version is an outright comedy, while the Runyon version essentially has a sad ending.
