How To Be Middle-aged at 100

This was the title of a book that captivated Fibber McGee on one of his radio shows. It was written by a man named Will B. Young. He advocated a diet of figs, dates, nuts, turtle eggs, dried grass and goat's milk (camel's milk might be substituted if no goats were available). The readers were advised to sleep on the floor covered with pine needles (the floor, not the readers).

It happened that Dr. Gamble knew Mr. Young, and reveals to us that he died at the age of 22 - keeled over while milking a goat.
